Sales of new energy vehicles increased by 31.6% in July, and exports increased by 87% year-on-year

According to data released by the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers on the 10th, in July this year, China's new energy vehicle production and sales completed 805,000 and 780,000 units respectively, a year-on-year increase of 30.6% and 31.6% respectively, and a market share of 32.7%. From January to July, the production and sales of new energy vehicles were 4.591 million and 4.526 million, respectively, an increase of 40% and 41.7% year-on-year, and the market share reached 29%.

In July, domestic sales of new energy vehicles were 679,000 units, a month-on-month decrease of 6.9%, and a year-on-year increase of 26%; new energy vehicle exports were 101,000 units, a month-on-month increase of 29.5%, and a year-on-year increase of 87%. From January to July, the domestic sales of new energy vehicles were 3.89 million, a year-on-year increase of 32.5%; the export of new energy vehicles was 636,000, a year-on-year increase of 1.5 times.

From January to July this year, my country's automobile production and sales reached 15.65 million and 15.626 million, a year-on-year increase of 7.4% and 7.9% respectively, and the production and sales volume achieved a steady increase year-on-year. In July, 392,000 automobiles were exported, a month-on-month increase of 2.7% and a year-on-year increase of 35.1%. From January to July, 2.533 million automobiles were exported, a year-on-year increase of 67.9%.

The relevant person in charge of the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers said that recently, my country has clearly proposed to boost the consumption of automobiles and other large-scale consumption, and introduced several new measures to stabilize and expand automobile consumption. With the implementation of a new round of automobile consumption promotion policies, the potential of automobile consumption is expected to be further released, which will help the industry achieve the goal of steady growth throughout the year.
